Batiste Dry Shampoo Floral & Flirty Blush

Hi everyone. Now it is time for monsoon. I love rain especially after hot summer months, but I don’t like how my hair feels in monsoon. They are always frizzy, my scalp feels oily. 😦

So I decided to try Batiste dry shampoo. They are now available in India. I have been using it for last three weeks & now I am ready to share my experience with it.

I bought this variant online. This cute pink color attracted me. ♥

Price – 299 for 50 ml. (I got two of these for 500 rupees during sale). Also available in full size.

Packaging – This comes in hard tin bottle with a spray. Sprayer works just fine. This white & pink combination is very cute.

Shelf Life – 3 years.

Fragrance & Consistency – It has a very light sweet and floral smell to it. I personally really like this smell. This scent remains for 1 to 1.5 hour max. After that it starts fading.

The consistency is exactly like liquid powder. But once you spray this onto your hair the liquid evaporates & it becomes powder.

Ingredients – Butane, Isobutane, Propane, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch, Alcohol Denat, Perfume (Fragrance), Bistearyldimonium Chloride, Linalool, Cetrimonium Chloride, Butylphenyl Methylpropional.

How to use – Shake well before every use. Then hold it 30 cm away from your hair & spray it generously into the roots. Massage properly with your fingers & brush your hair.

My Experience – My scalp is oily, so in monsoon I need to wash my hair every alternate days. Then I started using this dry shampoo. I have used it the 2nd day of washing my hair. It soaks up all the oil nicely & gives me a nice silky hair with slight floral fragrance.

I need to massage it onto my scalp very nicely because otherwise it leaves a white stain on my hair. I have not faced any allergic reaction after using this.

My hair stays fresh for good 8 to 10 hours. I do not use any dry shampoo two or more days in a row as they tend to cause build up on scalp.

Also, I have not faced any hair fall issue due to this dry shampoo.

This small size is perfect because I can keep it in my bag & it is very good for travel purpose.

Though it is great for quick fix but it is not an alternative of your shampoo.

All in all, I really like this dry shampoo & will continue using it but might try other variants.

Pros –

• Lovely fragrance.
• Good staying power.
• Soaks up oil nicely.
• Gives a silky finish to the hair.
• Despite of being tiny, it has good number of sprays.
• Good for travel purpose.
• When in a hurry, it is a quick fix.

Cons –

• Little bit pricey for quantity.
• Available only online.
• Gives a white caste if not massaged properly.

Will I Recommend Or Repurchase It? – I will definitely buy other variants of it. I am in love with this dry shampoo. Try this for once, you will love it too. ♥
